VIRGINIA – According to the latest RRR Poll, Ken Cuccinelli leads his opponent Terry McAuliffe by 13.3 points, up from 12 points from RRR’s inaugural Poll released May 30th.
The most remarkable (or not) finding of the poll is the independent candidate is generating .09 percent on the ballot even though we don’t mention his name.
“I’m not one to boast, but I truly believe we have something cooking here at RRR,” said Chris LaCivita, the firm’s founder and chief pollster. “It makes it a lot easier to get up in the morning when you’re able to constantly find favorable polling numbers without having to worry about accuracy.”
Other key findings can be found below:
- Our poll also shows everyone loves Ken Cuccinelli, and everyone dislikes Terry McAuliffe – they just don’t know what to believe about him.
- The poll also shows that the independent candidate has approximately 1.1 percent name ID – with plenty of room to grow. Now all he needs is to net approximately $1 million a month to get through September 30th, spend $3 million on TV in October to increase his name ID to 25 percent, and then secure his 2 percent of the vote.
- Note: There is no margin of error, since RRR only produces error free surveys – and unlike PPP or DDD – we poll those actually voting (as we think that’s important).
